lane only 60 metres from a cognac distillery with its own
further 100 metres away is a bakers shop (Boulangerie) serving fresh bread, croissants, and pastries daily.
The village of Les Touches de Perigny also has its own small
leisure park with a fishing lake, tennis courts, mini-golf,
swings and roundabouts, and a barbecue area.
The town of Matha is just 3 kilometres away and has supermarkets,
banks, and many other shops and facilities.
The region offers many opportunities for daily excursions.
Cognac, with its world-famous brandy houses,
river trips, and shops is just over 20 kilometres away. The
towns of St. Jean d'Angely, Saintes and Angouleme are all
close by and offer many historical and leisure attractions.
An hour's drive will get you to Futuroscope
at Poitiers, or to one of the superb sandy beaches of the
Atlantic coast. The Ile d'Oleron is noted for its oyster
beds, but is also a paradise for watersports, sailing and
surfing, whilst the internationally-renowned port of La Rochelle
has many seafront restaurants and bars and is ideal for lovers

historic chateaux in the area.
